Frequently clean the cabinets with a rag and soapy water. This is done both to maintain the appearance of the display cabinets and to comply with food Hygiene standards.
Keep your vents, fans and refrigerators free of dust and debris, either by wiping them with a rag or vacuuming them gently.
If it is necessary to defrost manually, make sure you do so as soon as you notice icing.
Check door seals regularly for signs of damage or wear. If damage is detected early, fundamental repair work can be carried out to prevent cold air from escaping.
Ensure that the display case cooling equipment is serviced once a year by a qualified cooling engineer.
